So you’ll notice this week’s ‘Draw What I Want’ looks a bit different. The past months, I’ve been mulling over how to expand this space a bit. It’s fun and challenging to have a weekly project, so I appreciate that aspect of this space. In regards to the content, I love being able to window shop through drawing clothes and accessories and it’s something I’m constantly interested in. However, it was beginning to feel a bit one-note week after week for a dedicated blog space. I’m always finding new pieces of inspiration, new links to share, am constantly pinning and evernote-ing and have always wished I had a small outlet to share the things I discover. I realized I could share those things through this blog, in a rather unique way. So you’ll start to see more variety here, still going off the theme ‘I Draw What I Want.’ I Draw What I Want….to read. I Draw What I Want….to do. I Draw What I Want…to see. You get the idea. Let’s get even more interesting.
Speaking of gathering inspiration, you can see I’m craving it in book form. Also I’m pretty sure most of these I found out about from Brain Pickings, which is a blog I read every day because unlike a lot of blogs out there it not only inspires, it challenges. I’m excited to check these out—together, they cover the realms of food, theory, life, and illustration
